If the Java client (link above) does not load, it is likely that the server is simply down and therefore the IRC is not working. It will no doubt be resolved within a few hours - there is nothing we can do if this happens!

There have been multiple threads concerning the chat.
to keep things tidy, here is one single thread devoted to the chat.

if your using Mirc, the server is IRCstorm (irc.ircstorm.net), the channel is #40kforums

P&R is allowed, as long as it is kept to a reasonable discussion. a debate, not an argument.
As with the forum, flaming and trolling are not allowed.

Issues from the Chat/IRC should be resolved either in the IRC, or by sending Andy a Private Message. It should not be brought into this thread, or the forums.

Arateus, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that sig is way too big, it's supposed to only be 7 lines, with the blank lines in between them all it's something like 12 lines.

Anyway, as for the chat, I love that place, and not everything that happens in chat stays in chat, once in a while it'll spill over into the wastes, but only the best stuff.
